A week ago, Resorts World Catskills hosted its first performance on May 12 with legendary comedian and producer Jerry Seinfeld delivering his signature stand-up routine. Resorts World Catskills also marked the completion of the first phase of the world-class gaming and entertainment complex with a grand opening gala attended by hundreds of VIP guests from across the region, including celebrities Phil Sims, Neil Patrick Harris and Adrian Grenier. The famous chef was joined by Resort World Catskills executives, his culinary friends, and VIP guests for the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was followed by a special opening reception to debut the restaurant.
"Catskill is important to me as I began my career after being educated at the Culinary Institute of America in Pocipsey. It's great to be back in the area to open up a Cellao at this beautiful resort," said Scott Conant. "The area is inspired by the beauty of people and nature, which is what Cellio hopes to bring to the table to complement the resort's World Catskill experience."
Cellio offers its Resort World Catskills guests an impeccable dining experience in both a stylish indoor and outdoor setting. Translated into the term butcher pantry, Cellio offers Conant's take on traditional steakhouse, complementing anti-pasties, market salads, and housemade pasta synonymous with old steak and Konrant's cooking. A comfortable bar and lounge greets guests upon arrival and leads to a spacious dining room with a spacious crescent-shaped booth and communal seating and interactive decanting station. Cellio has a powerful selection of more than 500 wines.
