Sharing Outgrow data via Google Sheet and Drive

You will now be able to pass leads from your Outgrow content pieces directly into Google Sheets as well as Google drive.

Google Sheets Integration with Outgrow
Here's what you will need to get started:

  1. An Outgrow account
  2. A valid Google account
  3. A live Outgrow content
  4. A sheet in Google Sheets where the leads will be added

Steps you need to follow:
Follow two simple steps to start sending the leads you collect on Outgrow to Google Sheets:

Map fields and Test connection
Configure

  1. To access this integration, navigate to the Builder > Configure on your Outgrow content piece. Click the Configure button on Google Sheets Integration.

Make sure you have allowed the pop-up on your browser to configure integration for Google Sheets.

  1. Now, you can authenticate your Google account. Upon clicking on the authenticate button, the system will prompt you to choose a Google account that you would like to use.
  1. Once you link your Google account with Outgrow, you will be asked to choose the sheet in which you want all the details to be added.
  1. If there are multiple worksheets present within the Google Sheet, you will have to choose the specific worksheet from the drop-down.
  1. Once you have selected an appropriate Google sheet and worksheet, you will then be asked to map the fields in which the information will be added.
  1. Once the integration will be live, you will see a green live symbol in the Google Sheets integration bar.

Google Drive Integration with Outgrow
You can now share the data (which includes document submission) without sharing entire user details via Google Drive.
Here's what you will need to get started:

  1. An Outgrow account
  2. A valid Google account
  3. A live Outgrow content
  4. A folder in Google drive where the leads will be added

Steps you need to follow
Follow two simple steps to start sending the leads you collect on Outgrow to Google Sheets:

  1. To access this integration, navigate to the Builder > Configure on your Outgrow content. Click the button on Google Drive Integration.

  1. If there are multiple folders present within Google Drive, you will have to choose the specific folder from the drop-down.

  2. Once you have selected an appropriate Google drive/ folder you will then be asked to map the fields in which the information will be added.
    NOTE: Only File upload-type questions can be integrated with Google Drive. You can configure the type of File in questions in the Build tab of your content.

  1. Once the integration will be live, you will see a green live symbol in the Google Drive integration bar.

More actions

Once the integration is configured and is active, you can navigate to the Google Sheet/ Drive block to see more actions that can be performed after integration has been set up.

Re-configure- In case your Google credentials have changed or you want to connect Outgrow with a different Google account then you will have to Reconfigure your Google Sheet/ Drive integration to continue getting Outgrow leads in your Google account.
If you have collected some leads on Outgrow but don't see them on Google Sheet/ Drive then you should definitely try to Reconfigure once to fix it yourself. If that doesn't help then drop us an email with your query at [email protected]

View Mapping- If you need to go over which fields you have mapped to configure your Outgrow-Google Sheet/ Drive integration, you can click on view mapping. you can then toggle between tabs to view the mapping across all fields.

Task History- This contains the list of all the leads sent to Google Sheet/ Drive. The leads which are in queue to be synced will have status Waiting and those which have failed to sync due to some reason will be shown as Failed.

Sync- If due to some error in connection your leads from content have not been sent to Google Sheet/ Drive then you can Sync the leads to your Google account after re-configuring. All the leads which were not sent to your account will be sent to Google Sheet when you sync.
Deactivate- In case you don't want to send leads from content to Google Sheet/Drive, you can simply deactivate it.
